Capital Hunt

A capital city on a postcard. Which country is it the capital of?

How to play

Each round names a capital city. Tap the country it belongs to on the map. A wrong tap turns that country red and costs you a try. When you finish, the map zooms to the right answer.

Difficulty

Easy zooms the map to the right part of the world, uses well known countries and gives three tries (10, 6 or 3 points). Medium shows the whole world and draws from over 150 countries. Hard shows only faint outlines and gives two tries (10 or 5 points).

About the capitals

Some countries have more than one capital, or a disputed one. The game uses the commonly listed administrative capital, and leaves out countries where the answer is contested.

Difficulty and modes

Easy, Medium and Hard each have their own puzzle every day, so there are three to play. A tick on the tab means you have finished it. Unlimited is endless survival play at the difficulty you choose: keep going until you slip, and try to beat your personal best, which is saved in your browser.
