Match the population
A target number appears. Pick countries whose populations add up to it, and get rated out of 10.
How to play
Each round gives you a region (Africa, Europe, the Americas, or Asia and Oceania) and a target such as 120 million. Tap countries to add them, then lock in. You are rated from 1 to 10 on how close your total is: within 2% earns a 10, within 10% a 7.
Difficulty
Easy shows each country's population and a running total. Medium hides the populations, so you need to know your geography. Hard hides them and rates you twice as strictly.
About the numbers
Populations are rounded estimates for around 2024, in millions. Every target can be made from a real combination in the region, and the answer screen shows one.
Difficulty and modes
Easy, Medium and Hard each have their own puzzle every day, so there are three to play. A tick on the tab means you have finished it. Unlimited is endless survival play at the difficulty you choose: keep going until you slip, and try to beat your personal best, which is saved in your browser.
